HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Mike!

Today was a quiet, but productive day. Ashlyn and I went grocery shopping this afternoon. Afterwards, I cleaned house, did some laundry, vacuumed, and made stew for dinner. I'm slowly feeling better, and hopefully I'll finally get over this cold.

Tonight was a big TV night for me: the season premiere of "Smallville", then "The Bachelor", and "Law and Order". hehehe Ashlyn and I ate dinner quickly then settled into our spot on the couch in front of the telly.

"Smallville" was okay. I was confused by Lex's deserted island thing and the "hallucination". I don't know if I like seeing Clark so bad (even though he looks damn HOT!). The episode is to be continued...I hope it get's better.
"The Bachelor" is pretty fun to watch. Unlike the previous runs of "The Bachelor", all the women know Bob and WANT to be with him. It just makes it more competitive and dramatic. HAHAHAHA!

Ho-hum.....not much else to write about. I'm hanging in there. It's lonely without Aric, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Overall, Ashlyn's been a very good girl. Maybe she knows to take it easy on me....ya, think????
