After the long weekend, I haven't been in much of a journaling mood. Ashlyn and I spent yesterday and today at home...going about our usual routine.

It amazes me how quickly Ashlyn picks up on things nowadays. Today she learned to wash her hands all by herself!...she climbs up to the sink, turns on the water, and runs her hands under the faucet. *SWEET!* At first, she would splash a whole lot...getting her clothes, the mirror, and the countertop all wet. But as the day went on, she got better at it.
Now whenever I say, "Let's go wash your hands", she's all happy and excited to do so. I can't wait until the day she's equally happy and excited about taking the trash out. HAHAHA!

I've been watching TV the last couple of days. Caught the finale of "For Love or Money" last night. Dude, the show is WHACK! The part when Rob gives Erin and Paige his schpeal before giving them his decision took FOREVER! It was this long drawn out speech where he's like, "yeah, remember the first day..blah, blah, blah....then on our date...blah, blah, blah...I really care about you...blah, blah,blah...BUT..." HAHAHAHA! And the girls' faces fluctuate between being hopeful then being concerned then being hopeful again, etc... I swear the producers made him do that. In the end, he chose Erin. But Erin chose the million bucks. *OUCH!*
And just when you thought that all involved had enough manipulation and mind-games, and had learned their lesson...they bring Erin back for another installment of "For Love or Money II"! *shake head*

Reality-TV is at it's largest right now. So many of them coming out. I'm not sure about some of them (ie.."The Restaurant"), but I'm actually looking forward in checking out "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy". Makeover shows are less humiliating (most of the time). hehehe

Tonight Aric and I shopped at Home Depot. We picked up some rose bushes for the backyard and a digital thermostat. We also stopped off at Target for diapers. Sonny thinks we go to Target a lot. I suppose we do, but the last time we went was like 3 weeks ago. Anyhow, Ashlyn moved up to size 5 in diapers (which is the last size before potty training). *clapping*

We got back in time for "Dateline" and the news. The news is so depressing....brush-fires that threaten homes, shooting death of a family of five, and two kids who died after being left in a hot car. *sigh* Sad.

Alrighty...it's late. I'm going to bed. G'nite!
