This morning Aric and Ashlyn got up around 9:30am. Aric took the baby downstairs for breakfast, allowing me to sleep in. Ivy, Wil, Bett, and I woke up around 11am and got ready for brunch. After Aric left for school, we went to eat at Oscar's in the Marketplace. The weather was strange...overcast, but warm and humid. We ate outdoors and enjoyed the water fountains and people bustling about.

We spent the afternoon shoe shopping. Had I known earlier, I would have taken Ivy, Bett, and Wil to Shoe Frenzy. Nevertheless, between the four of us, we bought 12 pairs of shoes! Crazy!
We stopped off at Tapioca Express for drinks and snack, then Bett and I got pedicures while Ivy, Wil, and Ashlyn shopped at nearby stores.

By the time we got home at 4:30pm, everyone was tuckered out and took a nap.

For dinner, Ivy, Bett, Wil, Ashlyn, Wey, and I took Aric out to celebrate the end of his second year of grad school. I'm REALLY proud of Aric! When he first started school, Ashlyn wasn't born yet and he was a bit nervous of how he would be able to handle it all. Thus far, he took it all in stride and made it look so easy. Just another year to go. =)
We went to Fish-Shin in Tustin (where we bumped into some of Aric's classmates), and had a great dinner. The girls and I had Calpico soju (which, surprisingly, didn't kick my ass like it did in the past)...while Wey and Aric had pitchers of Kirin. We sampled many great dishes till we were stuffed, then came home.

We hung out, had a bottle of David Bruce Petit Sirah, and watched TV. After Ashlyn and Aric went to bed, my girlfriends and I stayed up talking again. The last two nights have been so wonderful!...it's been a while since we've done that.
Have you ever stayed up talking until you're so deliriously tired that you don't make sense anymore? HAHAHA! Yeah, by 3am, some of us were dozing off and I was having a hard time completing my sentences...
Ivy: "what are you saying?"
Peg: "I dunno...what was I saying?"
Bett: "something about...wait, no...yeah..."
Peg: "I can't remember."
Wil: *snore*

HAHAHA! Dorks. *YAWN!* G'Nite!
