Ashlyn's cough is getting worse. She has coughing fits that leaves her red-faced, teary-eyed, and gasping for air. It's so sad watching her have these bouts, and not being able to do much about it. I wish I could take her to see a Doctor up here, but ever since our insurance changed, it's a hassle to get authorization and coverage. Check this: two months after I went to see the Orthopaedics for my back pain consultation, we got slapped with a $300 bill! My insurance denied coverage for reasons unknown. I'm still in the process of trying to get it covered. So unless Ashlyn is really really sick, she'll have to wait till we get home. =T

Today Ashlyn and I stayed home. I met up with Cin in San Mateo for some shopping before we both headed to Palo Alto for Girl's Nite Dinner. I have to admit that Girl's Nite Dinner conversations have changed a lot since I had Ashlyn. We used to talk about everything and anything and laugh till it hurts. But nowadays, everyone just stares at and plays with the baby. *sigh* hehehehe

We ate at Nolas tonight. I love that place. Great food, drinks, and dessert, funky decor, cool ambiance, friendly service, and you don't have to flash your bobos to get beads. =D
Cin and I shared the Seafood Gumbo and the Teri Skirt Steak. I also picked off Bett's Caesar Salad and Spicy fries. Mmmmm! My only complaint was that my Mojito had too much roughage, but if you don't mind mint leaves getting caught in your teeth, then go right ahead.

After dinner, we sat in my car and.....stared at and played with the baby. *sigh* hehehe
I really love my girlfriends though...they're the absolute best!
