Happy Friday! I think Ashlyn's slowly getting back to her old sleeping schedule. She slept pretty peacefully last night. It helps to keep her active and up a little later to ensure a restful night's sleep.

Today Sonny, Ashlyn, and I had lunch at Albertas (home of the tastiest carne asada burritos). Then we went back to Quail Hill. That whole area west of I405 is under development. There are about six different builders boasting five or more floorplans each. Most are townhomes, but some are single family detached houses....those are much pricier. We walked through the floorplan Sonny was interested and looked at all the Shea Home models. Many of the floorplans are three stories so we went up A LOT of stairs! Lugging Ashlyn wasn't easy either. Sonny decided that he liked the first place we looked at and put his name down for the phase bidding. WOW! I might actaully get The Swank One as a neighbor! =D

We spent the rest of the afternoon cruising around and looking at other homes in the area. It's hard to look at older homes after walking through brand new ones though. hehehehe

Tonight we met up with Ed and Sue for dinner at Pasta Connection in Newport Beach. It was a late dinner and by the time we got back, it was 10pm. We watched "Barney" for a little bit until I could no longer stand it. I was surprised that Sonny didn't mind. I think he's watched more "Barney" than he ever imagine he would. He even picked up on some of the songs. HAHAHAHA!
I had to battle Ashlyn for control of the TV. I finally got to watch VH1's "I love the 80's". I love that show!....simply because I love the 80's! I think VH1's changed their format and it's a lot more hip than before. Either that or I'm getting old. hehehe

After a couple of hours of "I love the 80's" Sonny called it a night. I was surprised since he's usually an insomniac...but spending a couple of days with a toddler (day in and day out) will definitely cure the worst cases of insomnia. HAHAHAHA!
Tonight is Sonny's last night here. He's leaving first thing in the morning for SD. It was great having him here, and I'm sure I'll be seeing a lot more of him in the near future. =)

Have a great weekend yall!
