01.14.03 Another quiet day at home. My back is really acting up today. It didn't help that I had to bend over while giving Ashlyn two baths (due to explosive diarrheas)! *YUCK!* Diarrhea for a week can't be good. =/ Since she didn't eat or drink much, I worried about dehydration. Luckily, her appetite is returning and she's taking in more fluids. The Pedialyte we bought was a total waste since she refuses to touch it. *sigh* But for the most part, I think Ashlyn's starting to feel better...she's smiling and getting back to her playful self. I got lazy and gave her only one nebulizer treatment today. =P Tonight
Aric, Ashlyn, and I met up with Aric's family and relatives (on his
mom's side) for dinner in Rowland Heights. Many relatives, who are
visiting from the East Coast, came together to celebrate their Grandma's
birthday....she turned 98! WOW! Dinner was good. We ate at a homey little restaurant owned by a friend of Aric's cousin. They prepared a huge and elaborate meal for us. I had a great time getting to know Aric's cousins. By the end of the evening, I was sad that the time spent was so limited. Edith, Edna, Greg, Evelyn, and Rick are flying back this weekend. *bummer!* We got home in time to catch the last half of "Smallville". Good thing my brother-in-law recorded it for me. Thanks, Patrick!...you rock! =) It looked like a really good episode. I caught the kiss between Clark and Lana...even though it wasn't really Clark. But still, that's as close as you're gonna get to them kissing...at least for now. hehehehe I'm going to stretch my back, then try to get some rest . G'nite! Pictures from tonight:
