Ashlyn went to the doctor's today. Aside from the common cold, she has some viral infection. They prescribed a nebulizer to clear up the weezing and congestion in her lungs. I'm so relieved, because the last couple of nights while listening to her breathe in her sleep, I feared pneumonia. *whew!* It's been a rough few days/nights.

I noticed that Ashlyn's mood dramatically changes when we go out. She's so much happier when we're out. I wonder why that is?
At the doctor's office, as I was listing her ailments and describing her misery...there she was, smiling away like nothing was wrong. After the appointment, we went to the pharmacy to pick up her medication...and there she was, smiling at everyone and blowing kisses left and right. The pharmacy said to come back in an hour, so we walked over to McDonalds for lunch...and there she was, smiling and waving to people.
Yeah, yeah, I know, I know...McDonald's isn't healthy, but at least she'll nibble on a fry and a couple of nuggets (with the batter removed)..and to me, that's better than nothing.
Then, the minute we get home, she completely changed into a hellion!...slumping on the floor like she has no bones and wailing into the carpet. When I tried picking her up, she would remain limp and cry harder. *sigh* My back is still in a lot of pain, so I would just lie beside her until she gets over her tantrum. These tantrums come and go often through the day.
By the time Aric came home, she was at her worst and we didn't know what to do....so we strapped her into the car seat and went to the mall. She was all happy again. =/ Weird!

I've been feeling really tired these days. I think it has a lot to do with my back pain. I refuse to take pain relievers (Tylenol, Advil, Motrin, etc...), so by the end of the day, my body is exhausted. Aric thinks I should just take Tylenol, but unless I have a fever, I never take pain relief. I don't know why....I'm just used to managing my own pain. *shrug*

Awww man!...we were at the mall so late that I missed "Surreal Life" tonight. Darnit! =( Oh well...G'night!
