HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Pearl!

Ahhhhhh, so spoiled!!! Ivy made appointments for us at a Spa for a three-hour treatment...complete with hour long manicure/pedicure, massage, and facials. My mom stayed home from work to watch Ashlyn for me, while Wil and I met up with Ivy and Olivia at La Concha Spa. The treatments were so relaxing and wonderful. I was pampered from head to foot, and my skin was all glowing. =)

When we finished, Wil and I quickly drove home to pick up Ashlyn, and met Ivy and Olivia for a late lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. Traffic off of Stevens Creek was horrendous, and the parking lot at Valley Fair was insane. To save on time, we valeted the car.
Lunch at Cheescake Factory was really good. Aric and I eat at Cheesecake pretty often back at home, but for some reason, it tasted much better here. I think it has to do with the popularity and long wait. hehehehe I was such an idiot...I brought my camera, but forgot my Compact Flash card. Luckily, Olivia brought her camera. =)

After lunch, we walked around Valley Fair. Everyone and their mothers were there! I even saw one of Aric's co-workers at Macy's. It took a while to make the connection since that's where I'd least expect to see him. So initially, we stared at each other for a while... he probably thought I was checking him out. HAHAHAHA!

Spent the evening at home with family. Ashlyn had a bad accident tonight. She tripped over my foot and fell. At first, I didn't think much of it. She tends to trip and fall a lot and I've pretty much became desensitized to it. But it was they way she cried that let me know that it was much more serious than usual. She was face down as I picked her up. When I turned her over, I saw blood dripping onto the hardwood floor and immediately freaked out. Her mouth was all bloody and she was crying really hard. She had cut the corner of her lip with her tiny tooth. But at that point, I didn't know where she was bleeding from. My mom and Wil ran to get towels, and I think I lost it. In a panic, I kept saying, "I don't know what to do!" I felt so awful. My mom scooped her up and I just watched as everyone comforted her. Once we minimized the bleeding, she calmed down a bit. I took her into my arms and just rocked her for a bit. I inspected her mouth and her four lil' teeth are still here, and her tongue is alright. *WHEW!* I got a big scolding from my parents. =(

I had to tell Aric about it over the phone, and expected to get scolded from him, too. But he reassured me that it was okay. What a nice hubby!
