HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Tony S!

Today was a mellow day at home. The weather was incredibly dark and stormy...it rained pretty hard all afternoon. I tended to some much-needed house chores, then played with Ashlyn, talked on the phone, worked on the webpage, and watched TV. Every so often, the electricity would flicker with a threat of a power-outage. Luckily, nothing happened.

The day went by rather quickly, and before I knew it, Aric came home from work. We had a simple dinner of meatloaf and artichokes. Rob and Brooke stopped by to drop off a gift tonight. We sat around and talked for a bit. With all the gifts taking up much room on the dining table, I'm motivated to deliver all of them. hehehehe

After dinner, Aric, Ashlyn, and I went over to Ed's. It's been a while since the last time we hung out with them. Ed has been super busy in the past months.
Anyhow...Sue is carrying low now. Their baby is due this Thursday (which is the day I leave to go up North)! Unless Sue and Grace go into labor tomorrow or Wednesday, I'm terribly bummed that I'm not going to be around for the arrival of their new babies! DAMNIT! =(

We hung out at Ed's till close to midnight, then came home.

The rain has ceased to a light drizzle now. Sorry for the short journals...things have been pretty hectic around here. I'm tired and still coughing. Going to go to bed now....I just love the sound of rain tapping the windows as I fall asleep. =) Nitey-nite!
