HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my cousin, Stella!

Wishing you every happiness on your birthday and for the year ahead! Big hug!

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Steve and Charlotte!

WOW! I can't believe we're already in the month of December! The days are just passing too darn fast! *pout!*
For weeks I've been getting emails regarding the Gap Casting Call. Today being the deadline, Aric, Ashlyn, and I went to South Coast Plaza to turn in an application for Ashlyn. Since I had printed an extra copy of the application (for Lauren), Grace and James met us there. I had expected the mall to be crazy crowded, but surprisingly...it wasn't. The center carousel area was bustling with kids lining up to get their pictures taken with Santa though. After dropping off the applications, we walked around the mall and checked out some sales.

James, Grace, Lauren, Taylor, Aric, Ashlyn, and I went over to Mitsuwa for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised to have bumped into a bunch of friends there. Most of whom I just saw last night and some whom I haven't seen in ages! I knew almost half of the people dining at the food court! It was pretty cool. Ed took Ashlyn, and she had a great time being passed from table to table.
I consider Aric and myself to be pretty darn lucky. Since were one of the first (in our circle of friends) to have a kid, Ashlyn gets a lot of attention. Ho asked if I mind that so many people handle and play with Ashlyn. NOPE! Not at all!...it's like free babysitting! It gives me and Aric a chance to eat in peace. hehehehe
After lunch, James, Grace, Aric, our lil' ones, Glenda, and I shopped at the market. I haven't seen Glenda since September, and it was nice catching up with her. We all headed over to Best Buy at Metro Pointe for more shopping.

Aric and I got home around 5pm. Aric was pretty tired and took a long nap on the couch. Ashlyn got a visit from her grandfather and Netty. They brought over a new toy for Ashlyn... like we need anymore. *wrinkle brow* It was a BIG one, too. It's like a foam puzzle mat with a keyboard, so Ashlyn can play the piano with her feet (think Tom Hanks in "BIG"). We sat around talking and playing with the baby for a couple of hours...occasionally interrupted by Aric's snoring. HAHAHAHA!
I cooked, and we had a nice dinner at home. My father-in-law and Netty left shortly after.

Ashlyn had a long day and was exhausted. Aric and I gave her a bath and put her to bed early. The rest of the evening, Aric and I watched a little bit of TV then holed up in the computer room.

Hope you all had a great weekend! =)
