I think I caught whatever it was that Aric had last week. This morning I woke up with a sore throat and that annoying swelling at the back of the throat (you know...feels like a loogey that won't come down). Anyway, Ashlyn was running a slight fever last night and this morning (side effects from her shots), so we both stayed in bed until noon.

Eggnog Latte...*YUM!* Aric brought some home last night, after his study session with his group. They only offer Eggnog Latte (for a limited time) during the holiday season, and both Cin and I try to get as much of it as we can. I've only had Starbuck's Eggnog Latte, but Aric went to The Coffee Bean last night....and their's isn't bad...it's much sweeter and creamier. I do realize that Eggnog is an acquired taste...much like Chai-tea. *yuck*

Tomorrow, Aric and I are heading up North to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. Thanksgiving at home is a huge event for my family...as well as Christmas and New Years. Family, extended family, and friends all come together and feast on Hot Pot. My family's not big on the Turkey-thing...we're Chinese, and a meal wouldn't feel complete without a bowl of rice. hehehe I'm super excited to see everyone...especially my nieces. Amanda had emailed me pictures of her in her Junior ROTC uniform. She looks so grown up...and like she can kick some ass. =O
A bunch of my friends made dinner reservations for tomorrow night, in Jack London Square, and we plan on attending a pre-Thanksgiving bash in Oakland. It's been a while since I've partied-partied with the group, and as silly as it sounds, I'm a bit nervous. Dunno know why.

I wanted to showcase some pictures Rich and Millie took on their visit. They're amazing! Enjoy:
