Happy Friday! Boy, it's storming down here. It's been raining heavily ALL day!
I'm still sick! *Ugh!* Ashlyn was able to get over this cold in a few days...but I can't seem to shake it. I had this stupid cold for a week now and it had me completely floored. Sucks!

Nevertheless, I braved the cold wet weather and Ashlyn and I met Liz for lunch at CPK. It was great to seeing her again. We always have so much to share when we see one another. After lunch, we walked over to Ann Taylor Loft to check out some sale items. Ashlyn's at the age where she likes to walk around on her own. She befriended this 6 year old girl who was shopping with her mother, and the two of them held hands and walked around together. It was cute. And when the lil' girl had to go, Ashlyn gave her a big hug. Dude, it's scary how willing my daughter will go to just about anyone. =T

After we got back from lunch, Ashlyn went down for a long nap. I finally got on the computer and responded to some email and surfed the net.
At Evil, Sarah, and Sonny's request, I have changed the format of my journal. I love how busy my guestbook has been lately! =) Any other requests? *wink*

Tonight, Aric, Ashlyn, and I met with James, Grace, Lauren, Taylor, and Sue at Pasta Pomodoro for dinner. Even with the foul weather, the place was packed and we had to wait nearly an hour to be seated. I was starved (which is a good sign that I'm recovering), and I stuffed myself at dinner. *blech* Afterwards, we all headed over to Ed and Sue's for dessert. We had a lot of fun! =)
Sue's belly is soooooo much bigger than when I saw her last. It's really exciting, and I'm getting antsy waiting for the arrival of their precious bundle. Baby Taylor looks much bigger too! She slept through most of dinner, but when she awoke, she greeted us with a big smile! Lauren's either getting more comfortable with us or she's become more outgoing, but she entertained us with song and dances. CUTE!
