07.07.02 *UGH!*...Call
me weak-ass! I don't know at what point I went from being buzzed to
flat-out-drunk, but I woke up this morning at 5am with an incredible
urge to puke. I drank a bottle of water that Aric left next to my bed
and forced myself to go back to sleep. I woke up periodically feeling
crummy. By the time I woke up at 11am, I was feeling heavy-headed but
much better. Today was really uneventful...or at least for me. Aric
got up, changed and dressed the baby, took her downstairs for a feeding
so I could lay in bed a little longer. From upstairs, I could hear her
cough getting worse. I dragged myself out of bed and jumped in the shower.
I could smell the alcohol permeating through my pores. =P The shower
made a world of difference. After joining Aric and Ashlyn downstairs,
we gave Ashlyn some cough syrup and played with her. The snot running
from her nose is really thick. When she sneezed, a bubble appeared at
the base of her nostril. It was so funny! We laughed and that made her
laugh, causing more bubbles to appear. Then she smeared it across her
face. *eeew!* The day was pretty lazy. I lounged on the couch and watched
TV with Ashlyn. Wey came over, and the guys took off to Home D to buy
some more stuff for the house...then they moved some furniture upstairs
from the home office. I talked to Sis on the phone for a while... found
out that Chris and Amanda got their driver's permit! I can't believe
how fast my nieces are growing! *yikes!* Pedestrians beware! HAHAHAHA!
Then I called my parents and talked to them for a while. Since returning
from our trip, I've been so busy with visitors, the house, and such
that my phone calls home have diminished to a call a week. My mom seemed
a bit peeved until I caught her up to date, then she sounded really
impressed and excited. She even offered to come visit. YAY! Aric
and I made dinner, while Wey played with the baby, and we ate in front
of the TV. We popped in "The Lord of the Rings" DVD. The movie
was long, but filled with awesome visuals. I kept wondering how they
made Frodo and the other Hobbits look so small. Of course the ending
makes me anticipate the next installment. Wey left midway through the
movie, and Ann and Phil came over to pick up some CDs. After the baby
went down for bed, Aric worked on clearing out his home office, preparing
it for laminate flooring. He cleared that room in a quickness. What a lazy day. I feel drained. G'nite! Hope y'all had a fun weekend! =D
