Wishing you a great birthday and another fun and exciting year!
Miss you, buddy!

*Ugh* It felt as if the house got turned upsided down, shaken vigorously, then set back on it's foundation. I'm not used to the mess. Our dining table was cluttered with every appliance from our counter top. The coffee table was piled chest high with random things. And dust EVERYWHERE! Yesterday was especially tough...the painter and his crew worked on both the upstairs and downstairs, so Ashlyn and I were confined to the only room that wasn't being painted...her room. It wasn't very fun, and Ashlyn and I slept most of the time....leaving me feeling groggy and heavy-headed, and leaving Ashlyn disoriented and cranky.

But you know what?...the walls look GREAT! The walls look fresh and brand new. I spent last night and today cleaning and rearranging everything...and everything is finally back to normal. I even had time to finish updating the China journals! WOO-HOO! =D

Tonight Aric, Ashlyn, and I went to Costco to buy stuff for the baby, the house, and for Ed's BBQ tomorrow. Afterwards, Aric and I went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner. I've never been there before and the food was pretty good.

We came home, unloaded groceries, put the baby down for bed, pushed our bedroom furniture around, then got some stuff done around the house. I'm exhausted! It's been really really crazy around here.
