BIRTHDAY to WEY!
For the past couple of years, we would throw everyone's birthday party at Honda-Ya. Honda-Ya, though kinda pricey, has great yakitori and really fresh sushi! But it's best to go with someone who's fluent in Japanese because they serve some tasty dishes that's not on the menu...you have to ask for it.
Here are pictures from Wey's party last year:
Today I picked my nieces up from school. Their high school has an unsual dress code...kids are only allowed to dress in black, white, or gray (or any combination of the three). It's because a few years back, they had a problem with kids representing a certain "color"...so I guess this dress code is supposed to discourage being associated with a certain gang. *ghetto* So as I was waiting at a stoplight, all I can see is a sea of kids dressed in black. It's kinda freaky if you ask me.
a bunch of us met up for dinner at Tony Roma's in Union City. I don't
know what the occasion was, but everyone kicked off dinner with cocktails.
I had a Black and Tan (in honor of Wey's birthday..."this is for
my homie". hehehehe) Afterwards, we walked over to Baskin Robbins,
then to Starbucks. We hung out at Starbucks until they closed and we
got booted out of there. When I got back, I talked to Aric on the phone.....
