Happy Friday! Today I hung out with Sis at her house. It's so convenient considering she only lives across the street from my parents' (actually, she lives diagonally across). Harvey, a young engineer, lives directly across. My family is extremely close, and my sisters and I are the only people known to actually WANT to live near our parents. Unfortunately, I'm the only one who lives really far from everyone (Wil and Tony only live a mile away from my parents). Back in the day, my brother-in-law tried to set me up with Harvey, in hopes that I would eventually become Missus Harvey and take up residence right next door. But, uh...obviously that didn't happen. Harvey's not really my type. =/ Anyway, back to what I was saying...I hung out with Sis: we picked up my nieces from school, had lunch, went to the seamstress to get my bridesmaid dress fitted, then we headed back to Sis' house and played around with her Caruso curlers. Miko, my sister's sister-in-law's daughter (didja get all that?) was over. She is the biggest kindergartener I've ever seen! She's three years younger than my niece, Marisa (whose 8 years old), but she's bigger than Marisa! It must be her bi-racial mix (half Chinese, half Mexican).

Tonight, I had dinner with Wil, Tony, Bett, Ivy, Cin, Matty, Sarah, and Parkin at Max's Opera Cafe...funny, didn't I just talk about Max's? Max's Opera Cafe not only has a great selection of food, but features a talented pianist who plays music for you all night long. They take requests, and every so often, a waiter/waitress will go up and showcase vocals from their favorite opera/play. Dinner was good. I even got carded when ordering a drink. That's one way of stroking my ego! =D
