Sue and Ed (holding Ashlyn)

So far I've been keeping to my resolutions. But then today I did something that I haven't done in a really long time (and that was not on my list, but should be now)...which was pick my face. It's such a nasty obsessive habit I've had since my teen years. I tend to pick and squeeze things that weren't very noticeable to begin with and turning them into red inflammed dots. I get so mad at myself afterwards. *argh!*
Peg: "Is my forehead red?"
Aric: *inspecting* "Yeah."
Peg: "Damn!"
Tonight, we went to the mall with Ed and Sue, and every now and then, I'd turned to Aric and ask, "How about now?" He'd always answer with, "It's getting better". But whenever I pass a mirror, I'd sneak a peek, and I still looked like I had an outbreak of measles. Damn you, Peg! Anyhow, we forgot to bring the stroller, so Ed was more than happy to carry Ashlyn around. We had things to return/exchange at different stores, so to save on time, we went our separate ways. It was weird having someone run off with our baby. When we met up with Ed and Sue later at Banana Republic, Ed exclaimed excitedly, "This baby's such a chick-magnet!" HAHAHAHAHA! Yeah, we had this discussion before. Women probably find men, who are already committed, easier to approach and talk to (the conversation usually being about the baby or asking about the time...whatever). Afterwards we grabbed a bite at Jerry's Famous Deli.

Jerry's menu is HUGE! It took me forever to decide on what to get. They have a gigantic selection of noshes, kosher meals, sandwiches, burgers, soups, salads, pastas, etc. It's similar to Max's Deli/Opera-cafe in SF....but I think Max's is still better. =)

Uncle Sonny thinks that I look disgruntled in every picture. But I'm not....I'm just usually "unprepared"...yeah, that's it. But I'm really a happy baby! See...I'm smiling!
